From the Swedish west coast to the world

The production facility includes a cultivation area in a green house built of cultivation modules consisting of shallow lanes stacked onto each other to create over 10 000 square meters of cultivation.

The cultivation modules are designed for optimal growth of the diatoms that produce Algica^®. A self-propelled harvester is a part of the system and continuously harvests the algae biofilm. Once harvested, the unique shell material from the algae is extracted in a processing area. The high level of automation in the facility enables efficient and controlled cultivation and processing with high accuracy.
